Gypsy Moon Tellers
April and Robin met ten years ago, while waiting for the shuttle outside of Point Park University, to take them to their freshman acting class. They started talking about their mutual love for reading and The Muppet Show,
and have been best friends ever since. They graduated college in 1999
and went their separate ways, visiting each other often....until
September 2005, when April attended the first annual Williamsburg Storytelling Festival.
At the end of the festival she knew she wanted two things: to be a
storyteller, and to tell in tandem. Shortly thereafter, Robin moved
from Seattle to Virginia Beach and Gypsy Moon Tellers was born.
April and Robin combine their theatrical training and their love of
stories to form a unique tandem team that leaves story lovers, young
and old, wanting more, more, more!
Gypsy Moon Tellers
specializes in multicultural stories from around the world. Their
programs offer students of all ages the opportunity to visit foreign
lands without packing a suitcase!
